Who is “Free to Be” for?
In 2020 we have two separate events, aimed at different age groups, with seperate ticketing.
FREE TO BE KIDS is aimed at children K-6. The intention is that they will attend with a parent or other significant adult, as families or with church groups.
FREE TO BE YOUTH is for young people in years 6-12 at school, as well as parents, youth leaders and school staff, teachers and other volunteers. Attendees may be individuals, or come as a group from churches, youth groups or schools.
AT BOTH EVENTS We welcome people of any background, faith, or denomination - no matter what you believe (or don’t believe!) we would love you to come and join us! While we will be teaching a message about Jesus, we will endeavour to be sensitive to every individual's own journey.
Who is Christ for All?
Christ for All was previously known as Christ for the Coast, and is a committee consisting of local youth ministers, leaders and chaplains from churches in the Wollongong region. All volunteers and supervisors have current WWCC numbers (Working With Children Checks).
Will food be provided?
The best option for food is to attend our BBQ across the road from WIN Entertainment Centre at Lang Park. $5 for sausage sizzle & drink (Gluten Free & Vegetarian options available).
A variety of hot and cold food and beverages will also be available for purchase at the venue.
Please note, no commercial food can be taken inside the venue.
How do I get to the WIN Entertainment Centre, and where can I park?
The WIN Entertainment Centre is positioned right on Wollongong's City Beach on the Corner of Crown & Harbour Streets, within 3 minutes walking distance of the City Centre, its shops and restaurants.
The WIN Entertainment Centre's main entrance is located on the corner of Crown and Harbour Streets, Wollongong.
WIN Entertainment Centre is well equipped with accessible seating areas, lifts and ramps (where necessary), a hearing loop facility, and disabled parking can be easily arranged.
A variety of buses will be chartered from the Southern Highlands (Moss Vale, Robertson, Mittagong), the Macarthur (Campbelltown), Shoalhaven (Nowra/Bomaderry), and Sutherland.
Exact times will be available soon. Please email for more information.
Will there be security/drugs/alcohol?
